Mr. Fukunaga has extensive IP experience.  Mr. Fukunaga graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering, Yokohama National University, and began his career at the R&D Division of Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co., Ltd. (SEL).  Mr. Fukunaga was engaged in developing LCD and thin film transistor (TFT) devices for 3 years, and also worked for the IP division at SEL for 6 years.  Mr. Fukunaga has 10 years of experience as an Examiner at the Japanese Patent Office.  His main subject of examination as an Examiner is technology related to display control in general, for example, display processing, image processing, and user interface.
