Mr. Sakata has extensive IP experience.  Mr. Sakata graduated from the School of Science (Department of Chemistry), Tokyo Institute of Technology, and he began his career at the Production Technology Development Division of Epson Corporation.  Mr. Sakata was engaged in the development of quartz crystal devices and micro electro mechanical systems (MEMS) for 3 years.  Mr. Sakata also worked at the R&D Division of Semiconductor Energy Laboratory Co., Ltd. (SEL).  While at SEL, he was engaged in the development of OLED, oxide semiconductors, and CPUs.  In addition, he was in charge of prosecution of foreign patents and negotiations with other companies at the IP Division.
